USA Consumer Advertising Begins

for Winning Colours Multi-Cleaner®

Print and Radio to Support Roll-Out

(October 30, 2006)  Barrie, Ontario, Canada -  Winning Brands Corporation (Pink Sheets: WNBD)  announces that Winning Colours Multi-Cleaner® will be advertised for the first time to consumers in USA starting October 28, 2006 by means of print advertising in conjunction with participating stores under the Ace Hardware banner.  Test runs of local newspaper advertising in suburban Chicago are designed to develop a co-op program with early lead retailers.  Radio support will follow as design details of the integrated marketing program are finalized.

Winning Brands’ CEO  Eric Lehner sees this as confirmation that things are proceeding according to plan.  “We are building our success systematically by doing the practical things that are the foundation of a stable, robust organization.” says Lehner.  “We are not a flash in the pan – instead we are doing things with long term steadiness and resilience in mind.  With sensible co-operative programs in place with retailers who join the brand family, we are getting more secure on the ground all the time” he added – “We are designing success, not merely hoping for it”.

Winning Colours Multi-Cleaner® is an environmentally responsible clean-up solution that has come to the attention of professionals in the Home Improvement industry because of its ability to convert most oil based and other complex stains and messes into a simple clean-up with plain water.  The appeal of the product goes beyond technical performance because of its kindness to skin – a feature increasingly important to consumers and retailers.  The initial print advertising will involve 4 locally targeted newspapers with run of press estimated to be approximately 150,000 issues.   Winning Brands’ Sales Manager Lorne Kelly considers this the start of a growing base of support amongst retailers.  “They are our partners, not our competitors” says Kelly.  “The current fascination with “direct to consumer sales” by manufacturers is a waste of the expertise and customer service infrastructure of thousands of stores across the country on whom the Winning Colours Multi-Cleaner® consumer advertising will eventually impact” states Kelly.

Winning Brands Corporation manufactures the product in North America for domestic and export needs.  The company’s mission is to replace hazardous chemicals in widespread use with safer alternatives.  The company’s product range includes consumer and industrial versions. www.WinningBrands.ca
