Growth for Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner in Florida

New Distributor Listing Increases Account Base by 450 Stores

January 18, 2007  Barrie, Ontario, Canada -  Winning Brands Corporation (PINK SHEETS: WNBD)  (www.WinningBrands.ca) announces that it is expanding the number of stores in Florida authorized to carry Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner from one retailer in October 2006 to approximately 450 stores now by means of a new distributor listing.   Winning Colours® is a new clean-up solution making news because of its combination of positive environmental characteristics with unusually strong technical performance.  The product converts oil based stains into a simple clean-up with plain water, delivering unprecedented convenience  and safety to anyone working with paint, whether in the home improvements sector or the art sector.

Silco Distributors of Miami-Dade County is listing Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner effective immediately for distribution to all its 450 paint & sundries retail accounts south of Palm Beach.  Silco has 46 years experience reaching the type of retailers called for in Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner roll-out plan. Silco will assign 3 full time representatives in South Florida to the launch because of positive reaction by consumers and the trade in Florida to Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner.  The first store in Florida to carry Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner was an Ace Hardware outlet in Key West.  Word of Winning Colours® has been spreading, with Silco being the first distributor to be awarded representation in South Florida.  This arises from a decision by the Val-Test  buying co-operative to list Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner in November 2006; Silco is a member.

Winning Brands Corporation manufactures Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner (www.WinningColours.com)  in North America.  It is a clean-up solution positioned to be as strong as a solvent, but gentle as soap.  The product is receiving attention in the home improvement sector because of its power, versatility and safety.    Winning Brands’ mission is to replace hazardous chemicals in widespread use with safer alternatives – for home and business, with a focus on cleaning.  Winning Brands Corporation is also known in Florida for its pioneering work in the replacement of toxic dry cleaning solvents, such as Perchlorethylene, with safe alternatives in Naples and elsewhere.  Additionally,  Winning Brands’ Solvent Free Solutions™ Team has commenced conversion of cruise ships that call on Miami and Key West to the use of the company’s non-toxic on-board garment care solutions in a strategic alliance with international appliance manufacturer Miele.

Winning Brands Corporation executives have commented before that such positive developments were likely to follow an orderly roll-out strategy.  Lorne Kelly, Winning Brands National Sales Manager says that what is happening here is a natural outcome of putting things together properly.  “Market testing, personal training, merchandising support and the right product are a prescription for success.  It’s as simple as that” says Kelly.    Winning Brands’ CEO Eric Lehner points out that the company’s success is being built through systematic diligence, a combination of “focus and perseverance”.  Despite the upside, he remains cautious to investors. “With every such development we are strengthening the fundamentals of our business, but the risks don’t go away - they get balanced by the increasing strengths.  Building a significant consumer products company takes time but can yield very significant rewards over time.  It’s coming together well.”  says Lehner.
